Rejection

Earlier this month, I submitted one of my novels to a contest Amazon was hosting. I was excited, figured, hey this could be my chance.

Turns out it wasn't. I want to say I'm not bummed, but then I'd be lying. I'm a little bummed, but I honestly expected it to get rejected. It's not my favorite story, not by a long shot, but still, it kind of stings a little bit.

Better luck next time, right?
