It's been nine days, NINE DAYS since I wrote chapter 37 and in the days since then, chapter 38 has since eluded me. I've written several different versions, a page or so each, and scrapped each one because they suck. I'm working on it now, and it still sucks, but I'm so close to being done with this story that I'm ready to just write whatever because I'm sick of it.
If that makes sense....
Chapter 38, wherever you are, wherever you're floating around in creative space, it would be great if you could just come one down and visit my fingertips so I can write you...
